Using a combination of guitar, Korg Monologue, and Volca Beats, Loopsy Dazy crafts an intricate sonic landscape. The guitar, in conjunction with a bunch of Max for Live devices, triggers the notation and parameters of the Monologue, while the guitar signal is simultaneously run through the synth's filters, envelopes, and LFOs. The Volca Beats are generated by M4L devices and live-tweaked with the MIDI Fighter Twister, with the guitar and loops manipulating the complexity of the patterns. Over 75 parameters are tweaked by Envelope Follower, LFO, and Shaper devices, while Mikey Dorje personally controls at least 100 parameters via the controller directly for other effects, along with a foot controller.
