The classic hit "Tu Piano Y Mi Guitarra" by Ricardo Montaner and Alejandro Lerner has been given a fresh twist by Puerto Rican artists Carlos De Juan and Ivanez. The new version was released in June 2024. It combines the original style with a modern twist. Carlos De Juan, a singer and actor, is aiming to win over international audiences with his impressive voice. Carlos was inspired by Montaner since childhood, so he was excited to take on this iconic song. He wanted to stay true to the original 1989 tone while adding his own unique flair. This new arrangement is set to meet audience expectations and give the classic a fresh new lease of life.

Carlos De Juan is a singer, actor, screenwriter, and composer who specialises in Latin pop ballads. Carlos was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and has made a big impact on the music scene. He first came to prominence in the mid-90s when he auditioned for "Juventud Vibra," a top talent show in Puerto Rico. His dynamic performance really captured the attention of the audience and the media. Although he didn't win, his talent got him a spot in the youth music group “Bam Bam Boys,” later known as “Grupo Elektro,” which led to his first record deal.

From a young age, Carlos showed a natural talent for music, which he developed with the help of mentors like Clarissa Chapusaux and Mary Lynne Pagán, and was influenced by his musically inclined family. Carlos's mother, Irma Infante, was a pianist and singer, and his uncle, Isidro Infante, is a renowned music producer and pianist. After his time with Grupo Elektro, Carlos moved to Orlando, Florida, where he worked in musical theatre at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. When he returned to Puerto Rico, he did really well in commercials and TV production, and he got his singing career back on track with the cover 'Tu Piano Y Mi Guitarra'.

Carlos De Juan is planning to release nine more songs soon, with the aim of connecting deeply with his audience and breathing new life into Latin pop ballads.
