Award-winning electro-pop artist Kiesza is back with her highly anticipated new album, Dancing and Crying. The first volume is set to be released on 24 May. The album's focus track, "Strangers," offers a raw and introspective look into Kiesza's creative journey post-2017, when a traumatic brain injury from a car accident stalled her career.

In "Strangers," Kiesza looks back on her struggles and triumphs, and how her creative process and sense of self have changed over time. Kiesza is known for her billion-streaming single "Hideaway" and collaborations with big names like Diplo, Skrillex, and Duran Duran. She's kept her signature electro-pop sound while adding more organic and traditional elements, showing off her diverse talents.

About the song and album:

"Dancing and Crying: "Vol. 1" is Kiesza's most personal project to date. The album was produced in collaboration with Sugar Jesus and Grammy-nominated songwriter K Sotomayor. It's a great example of resilience and the power of community. “This album is about letting go and embracing life as it unfolds,” says Kiesza. The album is full of late-night poetry sessions, existential musings and unforgettable adventures, all woven together to create a tapestry of love, loss and deep friendship.

Kiesza's journey from her debut hit "Hideaway" to her new album shows how much she's grown and changed over the past decade. Her new music brings together her dance roots and folk origins, offering fans a rich, immersive experience.
