ILYAA, aka Ilja Eriksson, was born in Perm, Russia, and raised in Sandviken, Sweden, before moving to Oslo, Norway. ILYAA was inspired by artists like Tiesto, Madeon, and Porter Robinson when he was a teenager and started experimenting with electronic music. His first single, 'Singularity', which he co-produced with Mats Forøy and co-wrote with Marius Njølstad (Madden) and Andreas Garmark (6AM), got a lot of attention. It charted on Norway's NRKmp3 and was featured on Spotify's New Music Friday playlists in Norway and Iceland. ILYAA's music has got the seal of approval from some big names in the industry, including Hardwell, Don Diablo, and Seeb.
