About Soul Of Zoo
Benjamin, the creative mind behind Soul Of Zoo, has been into music since he was young. He's travelled a lot and loves electronic music, so he started making music in 2016. He's been to lots of different countries and has been exposed to lots of different sounds, which has helped him develop his musical style. In 2017, he moved to Montreal, Canada, which was the start of his production journey. It was here he met Robin, a talented multi-instrumentalist, forming a dynamic duo that crafts enchanting tracks.
Soul Of Zoo's mantra is simple yet profound: "Music is a journey filled with love, sharing, emotions and happiness that will never end." This philosophy is evident in their work, which has been featured on renowned labels like Pipe & Pochet, Art Vibes Music, Lump Records, Inward, Baikal Nomads, and Kosa. A big moment for them was their collaboration with Guy Laliberté for PY1 Night "Eye Wonder," which really put them on the map in the electronic music scene.
In 2020, Benjamin was invited to a private island by Laliberté to join the Frog Collective, a gathering of international talents including members of the Hans Zimmer Orchestra, Tina Guo, El Amir, Delaram Kamareh, and Dominique Fils-Aimé. This led to several collaborative EPs being released in 2021 on Laliberté's Wannabe A Frog Records.
Support from artists like Behrouz, Sabo, Bedouin, Lunar Disco, Hot Oasis, and Guy Laliberté himself shows that Soul Of Zoo is on the up. With a new wave of music expected in 2022, there's a lot to look forward to.
